It is called "Schubert's Ave Maria" because the melody begins with the words "Ave Maria". The primo part connects the beautiful melody with the accompaniment and harmony. The secondo part is responsible for the accompaniment, but in [B], the primo and melody are joined together in octaves, so match their notes to each other to create depth.
