For our customers in the EU
Wasabi Sheet Music uses the IOSS (Import One-Stop Shop) system for EU orders.
Order amount
VAT collected automatically at checkout
If your order total (excluding shipping) is €150 or less, VAT is calculated and collected at the time of purchase via the IOSS system. You will not normally be charged again upon delivery.
VAT and customs duties may apply on delivery
Orders above €150 fall outside the IOSS scheme. VAT, customs duties, and import taxes may be charged separately upon delivery.
Before you place your order
Please keep the following in mind
- Always place your order under a personal name. If a company name appears in the shipping or billing address, the order may be treated as a commercial import (B2B) and IOSS will not apply.
- A handling fee (approximately €2–€20) may be charged by your carrier or local postal service, depending on your country.
- All prices are shown excluding VAT. VAT is calculated automatically in your cart based on your delivery country.
- The €150 threshold applies to the product total only, excluding shipping costs.
If you receive a VAT bill on delivery
Please do not pay immediately. Contact us with a copy of the invoice and we will review it and advise on next steps.
For our customers in the US
We ship all US orders under DDU (Delivered Duty Unpaid). Duties, taxes, and handling fees are charged by the carrier upon delivery and are the recipient's responsibility. These charges are not included at checkout.
Regulatory change — effective August 29, 2025
All imports to the US are now subject to customs duties
The United States has abolished the de minimis exemption (previously USD 800 tax-free). As of August 29, 2025, customs duties and taxes apply to all imports regardless of declared value.
Due to these regulatory changes, additional fees or delivery delays may occur. Thank you for your understanding.
For our customers in Canada
Orders over CAD 20 may be subject to applicable customs duties and GST (Goods and Services Tax).
Charges determined by Canada Customs
These fees are determined by the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) and collected by the carrier upon delivery. For more information, please visit the Canada Customs website.
